Here’s one of the main bad guys, Admiral Karagon. This is a 34 second clip from the film, as Karagon arrives with his fleet, to battle the Prometheus armada. The sound effects are not complete and the music is just a placeholder for when the actual music is composed. But the voice talents of actor Tae Jensen make this character shine.

This is the Descent 052, a Battleship class warship, for the film. Box modelling in 3dsmax, 18k polys. Textures are several metal and rust maps mixed in Photoshop, and a mask for the paint-over. Today was definetely a good day for 3dsmax.

Rejoice! The TITAN Mk2 model is finally complete. Modelling, rigging and the dreadful texturing are finished. Now to go to the other robots and finish them off, but for those, wait for the film. The TITAN will use a massive railgun, his trustworthy sword, and some more tricks in the film. Comments are welcome.

There’s been a two month hiatus on the work for the film, but I’m back with updates.

Here are two of the main characters from TITAN II: Hunters.

Logan Reyes is the symbiote of the TITAN. This is an improved version of the old model previously seen in the first post of the website, with added normal maps and texture modifications.

William Gorge is Logan’s second in command, and veteran starship pilot with several
skirmishes on record against  the relentless Altaran Alliance’s mercenaries.

Next up is modelling the evil Admiral Karagon. After holding online auditions, I have chosen Tae Jensen to voice him. More on this in the following days.

Here’s a clip of Gabriel, a new character for TITAN II: The Hunters.

This is an unfinished clip, the final version will have postprocessing applied and a higher resolution than Youtube, obviously.

Now, a couple of items of info on Gabriel. He’s been experimented upon by the Altaran
Conglomerate, in order to improve his genetic material and make him psionically aware.
They’re going to unleash him on Logan and see how the TITAN can face off against a
worthy adversary.

I’ve got my eyes peeled to get some comments.

 This is a completed model of a Heavy Corvette starship for TITAN II: The Hunters.

I finished this one earlier this year, with the plan of using it later. Now it has found its use as models of it will be used in the space scenes of the upcoming film.

The polycount is about 30,000 and the textures are self made.
Total work on the ship took an estimated 10 hours.

Hello, everybody!

After having made TITAN Genesis, a short science fiction film, last year, I was curious to see how people would react to it. The results were more than I expected, with over 300,000 downloads and a lot of coverage on several websites. That lead me to believe that people enjoy watching massive robots kicking each other’s hardware across battlefields, so I decided to take the next step and expand the TITAN universe.

In TITAN II: The Hunters, the story continues to focus on Logan, the symbiote of the allmighty Titan, as he continues his struggle for a place in the universe, after discovering his new powers of galactic energy awareness. It takes place several years after the first film, and we see that the Altaran Conglomerate, a corporation that rules over most of the human race, have come to see Logan as a threat. I will share more of the story at a later time, as there are more surprises along the way.

Currently the TITAN II: The Hunters project is in a relatively early stage of development. I am finishing up on the characters and robots, then it’s off to the scenes and backgrounds. I will keep you all up to date on progress, but I hope to get some feedback. If you see something you like, say it. If you see something that you don’t like, then please express yourself and give some constructive criticism regarding it.

Basically, in this film I will try to mix in science fiction with a little mysticism, starfleet combat, large robot duels and some divinity theories. There’s a lot to do, but time is not a problem this time. I’m hoping to finish up by the end of 2007.
